Audio Play-Along
This piece is decidedly in a minor key. Uke 1 is tabbed in the 5th position and Uke 2 is in the 1st position. Pay attention to connecting the notes of the Uke 1 melody to allow the beauty of the part to resonate. Uke 2 includes staccato notes in measures 10 - 13. Try to shorten these notes by muting the 3rd and 4th strings between the notes. This is easier said than done, but, provides a lively backdrop to the gentle melody. Also, note that the dynamics are mp an p, strive for a soft and quiet tone.
